Creating the Tournament Organizer Position

Not much happened that was planned to do in this update, seeing how the academy been very slow and almost dead, we have decided to take a break for a month and after a month we will try again.

We've tried our best to keep activity up but since Wolf_Shadowrider couldn't get on to recruit due to his internet, we couldn't keep activity up. I couldn't really recruit as I've gotten a lot busy with school work and stuff. I tried my best to keep activity alive with the event "Referring/Inviting" but no one ever tried to recruit.

Thanks for being here while we was active. We will try again in a month time frame.

The forums will still remain up for anyone who wants to try to help out.

Hi there so i am making this post to suggest that the academy creat a Tournament Organizer position. Evidently i am also applying for the position as i am suggesting it.

I feel that this would greatly help future events attain a level of quality that we want to try achieve.

I have numerous years of experience in hosting tournaments and feel i can implement plenty of great ideas everyone can enjoy.

There may be a way, yes. Seeing as how my previous blunder with rushing the 3 day prepared tournament was a total mess, (yes I'll admit it lol) I suppose we do in fact need a tournament planner/organizer. James has already told me this as well and that being said I think we should give you the job, just for now until we know for certain that you'll do well. Than again that's just my opinion, James himself hasn't signed off on it so for now nothing will be happening. It is a definite possibility though, and just know you may not have any control over site editing or anything like that, chances are you'll just be making plans and advertising, along with running the rules and restrictions of how the tournament goes.

Anyway, thanks for applying though, I wasn't sure if we were suppose to pick someone, or draw straws from a hat or something. xD

jd and i were talking yesterday if he gets the to then ill offer to be the judge for the tournament ill oversee the games and answer any ruling or mechanical questions
